Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation: A Review

Ok, so I'd seen some rave reviews about Revlon's new Nearly Naked foundation.  I was pretty psyched to try it, as I've been using Revlon Colorstay for a few years now and while I do like it and the coverage it provides, it sometimes feels a bit heavy.  So I was happy to try something different and had heard that the coverage was buildable and was a good coverage.

I used the shade called Vanilla.  It went on smoothly and was easy to apply overall.  But I noticed almost immediately that it settled a bit into my pores.  I applied a bit more, then set it with the Revlon Nearly Naked Powder.

I'd been using this powder for a few weeks and I really REALLY like it!  It's very finely milled, hardly any fall out when I swirl my brush around and it sits very nicely on the skin.

Unfortunately, the foundation just went from bad to worse... it had already settled into my pores and about 3 hours after application it was appearing oxidized, extra oily, my skin just *felt* dirty and it looked horrible.  Patchy and orangey in some areas.  Not good.

I tried it out one more day, but no... I took it back to the store tonight.  I will NEVER use it again.  It just made my skin feel dirty and felt the opposite of Naked.  I will continue using the powder, because I really like it.  But the Foundation... no.  It just didn't work for me.
